If you’re looking for outstanding Thai food and want to support a family-run local business, I highly recommend White Lotus. From the moment we walked in, the experience was excellent. The restaurant appears to be a converted small diner with a very clean, welcoming atmosphere, and you can see much of the food being preparedβ€”which adds to the experience and gives you confidence in the care they put into everything. They started us with a complimentary appetizer soup that was simple but incredibly goodβ€”a light, flavorful clear broth with noodles and chicken that set the tone for the meal. For my entrΓ©e, I had the green chicken curry, and it was excellent. Great flavor, fresh ingredients, and balanced spice without overpowering the dish. You could tell it was made with care and not rushed. To finish, I had the mango sticky rice for dessert, and it was fantasticβ€”the perfect ending to the meal. Fresh mango, great texture, and just the right amount of sweetness. But what really stood out was the service. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the whole place felt genuinely family run in the best way possible. Excellent food, excellent people, excellent experience. I’ll

Since White Lotus opened in 2026, it has become my favorite restaurant in Dayton. Every visit has been a great experience, and their yellow curry with pork and mango is my absolute favorite dish. The combination of rich, savory curry with the sweetness of mango is incredible, and it’s honestly some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Another standout is the chicken pad thai, which is especially yummy and has become one of my go-to orders. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Beyond the food, what really stands out is the warm, family atmosphere. The staff are welcoming, the service is attentive, and the restaurant has a comfortable feel that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they serve. If you’re someone who enjoys spicy food, be sure to ask about their hot sauce. They’ll tell you, β€œBe careful,” and they’re not kidding. It adds serious heat and is perfect for anyone who likes their food with an extra kick. For anyone looking for outstanding Thai food in Dayton, White Lotus is a must-visit. The quality, flavor, and hospitality have been consistently excell

I should have taken more photos, but I gobbled everything up too quickly on my first visit. Writing this review upon my second visit. The first was a few days ago. The food is delicious, authentic (according to my visiting Thai friend), and the people working have been lovely. A friend of mine asked for a LOT of additional side dishes and condiments and the wait staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Very cute spot with lots of natural light through the windows. I like the decor and hearing them cook behind me when I've sat at the window both times. I usually am wary of Thai places and spice levels as I don't handle capsaicin well, and I was very happy to find that No Spice really did mean no spice. I had the Thai Ice Tea (I loved it; my friend said it was a bit sweet), Eggplant Salad, Tom Kha, Gyoza, Mango Sticky Rice, and have really enjoyed every one. I love the cute little carrot flowers. Wishing them the best and will happily return! 🫢🏾
